He has been associated with such work in several newly emerging democracies and developing countries in Africa, Asia and Europe.\u00a0\u00a0He has organised conferences and workshops on official statistics and lectured at conferences and seminars in several countries on capacity building, organisation of statistical systems and offices, principles for official statistics and best practices in official statistics.
